Rub On Candle Holders
I haven't had much time to play in the craft room lately. Lindsay's baby shower is this weekend and Amanda wanted to make some of the gifts to use as our game prizes. This is just one fun way to use the Stampin' Up! rub-ons. They coordinate with the stamp sets and also with the de'core elements. You could really have some fun decorating a room.

April Stamping Class
We decided to take advantage of the Occassions Mini Catlogue this month when creating our monthly stamping projects. On the first card we used the Oval All set and Oval Scallop punch to create a very neat flip card. I'm sure there is a more technical name, but I don't know it.
Last but not least we made the cute card, mom posted earlier using the Wagon Full of Fun set, specifically the cupcake. We also used another paper design in the Walk in the Park Designer Paper pack.
The second card we made I love because it is void of all color and extremely elegant. We used the Walk in the Park Designer Paper and Embrace Life stamp set (not from mini catologue.) I think it is gorgeous and could be used for a number of different occassions.

Cheap Talk
I can't get enough of the Cheap Talk set from the current Spring and Summer catalogue. It is so darn cute and so fun to use. These are two cards I made with the same set. It is nice when you can buy a set that can be used in many ways. I look forward to making lots of fun things with it this summer.

Playing Around
If you have seen the pictures of my craft space then you know I have needed to get my card making fix somewhere else. I went to mom's house last weekend and cured my craving. I made this cute card, at least I think it's cute and I hardly ever like my own stuff. I used the Garden Greetings set and cut out the layers of the same flower three times. I then seperated them with dimensionals to give it lift. For a little extra bling, I used Dazzling Diamond on the flower. Simple yet elegant. I think that's my typical feeling about how cards should be. Easy to make and hard to forget!
A close-up of the flower. It is hard to see the Dazzling Diamonds, but you can use your imagination!
I bought this super amazing template for this box with compartment from Becky Roberts. It wasn't too difficult to remake because she sends you amazing color and picture step-by-step directions. Check her out at http://inkingidaho.blogspot.com and check her templates for sale for other awesom projects. I thought about filling these with something for my sister's baby shower as gift giveaways!

New Craft Space Update 2
I know it has been a while from when I posted pictures of the updated craft space. Part of the reason for this is because I have been helping my dad most weekends. We have been plugging away. Once we put up the drywall, we needed to mud and wet sand it several times. Very tedious work, but the results were amazing. Once that was done I could seal and paint the walls.
We also worked on the plumbing for my future sink. I can guarentee you that I am not going into contracting or home building after this. Lots of hard work.

Wagon Full of Fun Cupcake
Wagon Full of Fun
I absolutely love this card. I am using it as a swap with my fellow Stampin' Up! demonstrators. The only thing that was difficult about it was cutting out the flower pot and petals on the flower. I made a slit at the top of the wagon to slide the pot into so it looks like it is sitting in the wagon. I used everything from the new Occasions Mini Catalog. The Wagon Full of Fun stamp set, Walk in the Park Designer Series Paper and 5/8" Whisper White Satin Ribbon .
